This desk is extremely heavy and takes up a lot of space.  It cannot be moved by one person.  In the middle where an individual pushes in to sit there's a drawer for pens and such; this drawer has the branding engraved into its inside left.  The left-hand side has a cubby-like door that opens into a large storage space which I use for my printer.  The left-hand side has three very long drawers that each have retractable wood slots, I assume for filing or other document handling. 

It is oak, and looks as though it was handmade, pieced together for private use. It is one of a kind. The carver pedestals and bases are each carved from solid pieces. The underside is rough/unfinished. I just live my table and have had nothing but positive comments on it and many offers to take it off my hands. It would be nice to have some sort of idea of probable age and value. Also, I would love to get it restored/repaired but have always been afraid I wouldn't find anyone to do the job properly, and to keep it as original as possible. Any comments, suggestions and help will be very much appreciated.

Can anyone tell me about this brooch please? The period, maker and value would be great. There is one ruby and three pearls missing.

I have a 6 piece set: a mashed potato bowl numbered 2-45-5; a big serving plate numbered 1-46-1; a small serving plate numbered 4-46-3; a gravy boat numbered 1-46-5; a round serving bowl numbered 8-46-1; and a large deep serving bowl numbered 1-48-1.  They are all stamped with a gold "11".  The middle has a bouquet of flowers, mainly pinks, and the outside has a red and gold stripe.
