1920's flapper style dress; ivory lace with darker ivory underlay. The underlay shell has delicate decorative stitching. Side snaps, snaps from underlay straps to lace at sleeves. Gathered sash on right side at waist. pear brooch-like decor at waist on left side. My grandmother wore when she got married. She was 4'11". She married around 1920-1923. There are no tags inside. Maybe was handmade? One tear in lace on sleeve (see picture); few small rust-colored discoloration spots on dress (see sleeve picture for example). These were not found until a very closeup inspection. There are a few of these on other parts of dress as well (Very minimal). Minimal stain underarms (see picture). I haven't tried to clean this dress becuase I'm not sure the best way.
This is the original Warfiled table by Brandt furniture from the 1930s. This is the best table that Brandt ever sold. Solid mahohgany Duncan Pfyffe Clawfoot Dining Table. This table has 5 extra , 14 in leaves. This table was advertised by Brandt furniture as a table that grows with your needs Overall it is in great condition for its age. NO breaks, chips etc. Sturdy and solid.
This is a RARE find. There are not many of these tables out there and really none with all 5 leaves intact. Superior construction. The table glides open and shut.
The sides drop down for compacting.
Measures 42 in wide and 56 in long without the leaves and 30 in tall. 5 -18 in leaves extra.
This is what looks to be a very old saucer, bought it with 2 others which have proved to be from 1891 and 1828-59, so I would assume it is of similar age.
It is back marked SURREY with a B and S underneath a sort of ribbon scroll, I heve looked everywhere I can think to trace the maker but no joy.
