This is a decanter set in amber and aqua glass. It includes a tray, decanter and 4 glasses (two are a little larger than the other two) It orginally had six glasses but two were broken over the years. My mother purchased this set from an antique dealer in the late 1960's. It has no markings and I am curious as to its age and the region in which it could have been made along with a current value. The aqua against the amber is beautiful and I haven't been able to locate anything similar to it for comparison.Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
This is print purchased from the Taber Prang Art Company titled "The Kill" by Herring. The frame number listed on the tag by Taber is 9600. I took it out of the frame to see if there were any other markings on the back but it appears that the print and mat are one piece or that the print was glued into the mat. I am not sure if this was the way they sold them or if this was done afterwards.. It has beautiful colors (especially the brilliant red) throughout and I was wondering if these were hand done? I am curious when this was done, if it is indeed a lithograph and what the current value would be. Any information would be welcome. Thanks!
Vase in excellent condition on outside. No chips/scratches. Inside was previously used prior to purchase and has permanent marks from water stain. Bottom edge that rests on surface also has permanent markings (can somewhat be seen in pictures). All sides of top, middle and base made of separate panels and each panel contains different raised decorations.
