an orignal oil painting on canvas signed gilmore and i am trying to find what it may be worth

 I have a 2 light silver-plated candelbra stamped Elkington & Co. The other stamps look like this http://www.silvercollection.it/ELK1906.jpg which lead me to believe it was made in 1900. 



It has a weight to it but I have no scales to accurately weigh it, but I would guessimate to be 2Kg. 

 I would like to see what the value of these stamps and envelopes are.  They are the WWII Era and were collected by my grandfather while he was stationed in various locations just prior to and during WWII.

The first picture is of cover envelopes the US Navy used to send the letters the servicemen sent to their families.  

The second picture is of stamps that were collected between around 1908 and 1945.

i bought this and its very old......

At least 47 years old (my age). Hanging on the wall all that time. May be silver, not sure. Arabic writing or design. Has one little pearl/stone on sheath with a spot where one is missing. Looks like it was made to hang on wall or sash having two mounting holes on top sides of sheath.
