Set consists of teapot, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, 4 tea cups and 5 saucer plates. Tea set belonged to my wife's great grandmother (possibly great-great grandmother) and has been handed down to each generation. It has Japanese manufacturer's marks on the bottom. Tea set is in excellent condition. On cup has a chip but rest of set has no chipping. See pictures below. i'm trying to find out more about the maker, origin and value.
I have a four piece 1940s bedroom set--a full size bed, chest, dresser, and nightstand. The pieces say "Huguenot" on the back. The chest is numbered "S10." Each piece has detailed inlay and burled walnut wood.
I found an what I believe to be an alabaster and brass lamp. The top section of it is 100% not original. (Not pictured) The base is beautiful though. I was hoping someone would know the who, what, when and wheres of it so I can attempt to find the parts to restore it. It is approximately 17" tall and the base is 8" square. On the bottom of the base it is stamped 119. This lamp is heavy. It weighs approximately 12 pounds.
