I also have the shade that goes with the lamp. It has beaded fringe, with light beige flowers. The detail of the hands is marvelous, and the notes are printed on the music on the piano. I want to know how much it's worth. This is an electric lamp, and it works. My dad was using it in his living room. There are no chips in the porcelain.
I have a 1929, Japanese, lacquered, wooden, Ihai, otherwise known as a spirit tablet or ancestral tablet. Does anyone out there in cyber space know what it was worth?
This is a double light fixture. The electric component was located in the ceiling in the middle of two hooks. The lights are attached to gold/brass chains which rested on the two hooks. The lights themselves are a white glass (not see-through) and I would consider them textured. There is a gold pattern on the globes--maybe a berry type. It was in perfect shape until my husband dropped a tool on one of the globes after removing it. It now has a one inch hole in it (but we kept the glass that came out; very clean cut and may be repairable). We are wondering if it's worth saving or if we should just toss it, as we replaced it.
