Lacquer Chinoiserie jewelry box from the Orient; has four pull out drawers on the outside and a lid that opens to one long drawer. In the middle is a blonde dancer girl in a white dress that resembles Marilyn Monroe. Since the girl is blonde, and not a traditional orient figure, I think this was made just after WWII when American influence was heavy.

I found them at a thrift store in a large bin of assorted utensils. I also found these 2 forks which I haven't been able to find any information. They appear to be made of silver.

Kenmore Model No. 117.580 Sewing Machine (produced by Sears, Roebuck and Company) in the 1950's. The Wood Cabinet has the Model No. of 5663272 (or 3 at the end .. a screw is over the number, but I am sure it is either a 2 or a 3). The wood cabinet is in good shape and has a piece of glass that is cut to fit and lies on top of the cabinet. The machine works well, but needs a good cleaning by a professional. To my knowledge, there is nothing mechanically wrong with this machine. My grandmother used it up until her death.

 1950's  hedgehog named "Mecki" with a molded hard rubber face, mohair fur and felt hands. She's wearing a red skirt, blue shirt, cotton apron.  She has posable arms and legs.  The doll itself is in mint condition and pretty cute!  I believe this may be a steiff piece
