I'm looking for an estimated value on this 5-piece Bedroom set by Sumter Cabinet Co. This set belonged to my grandmother who bought it during the 1970s. I don't know what type of wood this is but I do believe it is a stained wood.

18th century windsor style sqck back chair. Was painted black before I owned it. Has evidence of original green paint. Tag under seat with the name “J.P.Marsh , Hartford, Conn.” and a carving saying 1790. Would like to know the value.

This was a gift to me from a friend who bought it in an antique shop. She usually buys nice gifts, so I have no idea whether this is junk sold deceptively, or if it's a decent piece. I noted that the middle of one of the flowers seems to be gone, but cannot "scrape" away any of the design, so I'm not sure when that happened or if it screams "decal"? I've had this thing for years and would love to know if I have an orange paperweight or something that had/has any value. The design is only on the front and it's about 10" tall and 4.5" at its widest.
