he HAD BEEN COLLECTING FOR YEARS BUT WHEN SHE GAVE IT TO ME SHE SAID SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW OLD IT WAS BUT THAT IT HAD A DIFFERENT MARK ON IT BECAUSE IT WASN'T STAMPED. INSIDE THE BOWL THE BLUE GLAZE HAS 4 SMALL AREAS WHERE THE GLAZE HAS COME OFF AND IT LOOKS LIKE RUST UNDERNEATH. IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE BESIDE THAT.
Matched set of 3 antique brass beds. 1 double and 2 identical twins. Very heavy construction of brass. Interlocking frame rails made of cast iron (see photos). Absolutely no rust anywhere. Beds have lacquer finish,, appears to be original, to prevent tarnishing. Excellent condition-only a couple of small dents in end caps, which can be removed and smoothed out--see photo. Beds can be dismantled without tools for transport, since frame rails interlock via a unique tapered key/keyway into the headboard and footboard (see photos). Beds are in original condition, never modified or upsized. Very strong, heavy, and sturdy. No wobble whatsoever. Bottoms of beds' legs have original caster wheels.

My grandmother gave it to me a couple of years ago. I had no clue what it was or the history of it but wanted it because of how unique it is. I tried finding pictures of it online to get more information on it but had no luck. However, I did find the patent number and was able to find the patent images on the patent website which told me that it was invented in 1937 by Jacob S Sherman which I later found out was the owner of The Park Sherman Company in Illinois. I would love to know what this clock is worth.
