I have no idea what this is called. This has a silver lid that opens and this looks like a stein, or jug, or something to that matter. This has no glass to it at all. The lid is silver i see but tarnished and the body looks octagone and like a bronze or brass color. The stamp on the bottom has a picture of an Ostrich with WMF stammped on the bottom as well as I/O & OX. I have seen alot of WMF items, but nothing like this one! I have searched and searched and am having no luck.

Pre World War II Tea Set

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Mint
Description

It's a tea set that says hand painted in Japan and the mark is either KE or KB in a triangle.

It is mainly brown with raised gold paint. Figures appear to be sitting on floor talking. They seem to have gold halos over their heads and have very rich looking robes on. The robes have some purple, orange, blue and some raised dots of white and other colors. I only know it was brought back from the west coast when my grandparents took a cross country drive in the 1930's. It's very thin and delecate.
