This was my grandfathers cigar box. It has a silver exterior, ornate with cherubs and roses. Inscribed on the left front edge of the lid is "FE Department de Trust a" and on the right is my grandfather's name, followed by the date, "18-11-29 Madrid".
There are two tiny squares on the lid handle. The background detail seems high, as there are perhaps thousands of tiny dots, adding to the texture. Please let me know what other details I should provide.
I have a 6 piece Frontier Forge serving set. The handles are caramel colored with swirls of darker tones. The handles are3 1/2 inches long and the blades measure from 3 inches to 6 inches in length. This set is in a leather case with a beautiful purple velvet lining. Appears never to have been used. From doing research online I believe this is a Vintage Bakelite set from the 1930's-1950's circa. Individual pieces are selling online for between $25-$40 dollars but I have never come across a complete set with the original case. I would appreciate any info as to what these items are worth.
