I have a bayonet I would like to sell but I cannot figure out what it is worth. I have found similar bayonets online but some detail is always different. This one has all the markings I listed above.
Figure made of either brass or bronze on a white base. It holds a shield in its left hand that is attached by a pin that allows the shield to rotate. It holds a long metal piece in its right hand that finishes with a cone-shaped end and can be taken out. It has a helmet with a round, smooth top and a flat brim a pointed beard and mustache that goes outward and ends in a point. The elbows and knees have wraps or a type of padding and the shield has star-shaped markings on the outside made in a three circular patterns. It is rather heavy and solid.
Very good condition from front to back. Sixty four,or so, pages of ads and such. Drawing on front cover by.. Harrison Fisher. May 27, 1911 THE SATURDAY EVENING POST
This pitcher seems very old to me and definately hand made. It was found in my Grandma's attic in Northern Germany. Her house is over 400 years old, so I have no idea when this item became our families property.
It has some rust on the bottom and a few rusty spots on the outside. A very detailed engraving encircles the pitcher.
