This is a silver or silver plater wine cup from Corbell & Company made sometime in the mid 20th century. Most of the patina is there but the spot meant for an inscription (that was never done) has been cleaned.
This tea set has dragons painted on that are raised textered. It was brought home from Japan during World War II. It is in excellent condition except there is a small chip in the spout of the tea pot. there is 6 cups and saucers, milk pitcher, sugar jar, tea pot and what may be a cookie jar.
5 boxes (4 unopened) of Fukagawa Arita hand painted porcelain dinnerware, pattern 2002, bought at 1933 Chicago World Fair. Each box is a five piece place setting. Dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, cup and saucer. Inherited item from my Mother.
The side mirrors are hinged and fold in. The seat has rushing that is intact but is very brittle and would not support a person. Intricate detailing around the mirrors as well as each area. The side pieces have glass on the top with Fabric inlayed underneath the glass.
