We don't know much about this painting. We are looking for the name of the painting. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've looked in several Dali catalogs and have come up short in finding a title for this piece.
Like I mentioned, my grandfather served in Germany around the WWII era. I was never really close to him, therefore I have no stories other than that he brought this cup set back with him. I'm hoping to maybe find out some of the history behind these cups and possibly what they may be worth.
The city crests on the cups are for Rome, Zurich, Versailles, Frankfurt, London, & Strassbourg.
They could be completely worthless, but I'd still like to know about them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I have a round music box with hand crank on top. It has a carosel that has a scene of southern men and ladies dressed in olden dress clothes. The carosel rotates and the music is "Swanee River" when you turn the crank. It has a picture of a young girl on the top in a sitting position. It appears to be celluloid. The metal housing is painted black.
