This has been in my family for at least 4 generations. Mostly I want to know what you'd call this style, and how old it is. Who made it, and where, would be nice, too. If it's worth anything, it'd be nice to know, but I'm not expecting it. As you can see, it has some condition issues.
The jar is in excellent condition. The style and markings were unusual and I decided to try and find some information on it. It's a light green/grayish color with the lighter designs. There is one small flaw which is a small hole on the surface. The markings on the bottom are difficult to see, but I was finally able to locate a description of the markings. It's apparently modern ware celadon, most likely 20th century. I've seen a wide variety in appraised values in the 20th century chinese celadon and not sure what determines the value.
