I picked this up at auction.  I can't find any information on it, would love some input.  

 I found this old box in the corner of an old barn we bought the contents of and id like to find out what is worth and when it was made

this is a very old bowl,  obviously has a specific purpose!  of which i dont know!  i think its made of tin  but its very ornate!  lots of detail!  an obvious craftsman made this!  would to love to know what it is  who made it and when??  thankyou  please help me!!

This mah jongg set is complete.  The front panel slides up easily and there are 5 drawers inside.  The antique store owner said that it had belonged to her husband's mother.  Brought back from China by her husband who was in the military and served there.  She said that his mother played mah jongg regularly with friends in Queens, N.Y.  We purchased it in N.E. PA.
