Just trying to find out if these pieces are worth anything. It's in average condition, some of the gold rim is worn off. Minor nicks, chips, etc. I will take a guess that they are around 100 years old.
I have around 25 books. They are in fragile condition. Published in 1895. On the inside of the book it states, By the kind permission of Messrs Macmillion & Co. and W. Aldis Wright, Esq.,the text here used is that of "Cambridge" edition.
