Antique Japanese Foo Dog Urn. Foo Dog Lid Handle and each of the Three Legs also have the Foo Dog Face. Signed on each of the arm handles though I don't read Japanese.
Antique bedroom set. Bed, dresser & nightstand. Bought in the early 1980's in Holland as an antique. Purchase price somewhere between 15 to 25K. No distinguishable markings that we can see. In good to excellent shape. Thought to have been manufactured in Europe in the late 1800's. Bed is make to accomodate a small stature individual. Looks to be hand carved. Any information would be much appreciated.
There are more pictures than listed. The sword is extremely detailed. The blades are dull on the sides but the sword is sharp at the tip. I really believe the condition to be near excellent but it needs to be properly cleaned. I do not want to mess it up so I will wait to see if we can have it cleaned professionally. There is rust on the top part of the blade and some green buildup on certain parts. The person that he got it from years ago said that he had it for twenty years. I do not think the original guy bought it new either. I think it may have been an heirloom of some sort. If it is authentic, it may have been ceremonial or something. It has very good weight to it, especially where the handle is. It also has the sheath, which is also very detailed.
