Sculpture in silver (or silver plated over other material); seal on base matches seal of Anton Endstorfer. Stands on 5 1/2 in square marble pedestal. Figure of woman dressed in ancient (possibly Greek) costume holding lidded box forward with both hands (lid opens; box can hold small items).
Fry and Blackhall Ltd. manufactured this set in 1927. It has original wood work. Re-appolstered in mid 1900's with champain colored fabric. Manufacturers article tags still legeble on frame.
the watch is in excellent shape. there is what seems to be a little tarnish on the front of the coin. should be easy to clean but i was told to leave it in its natural state, cleaning would take away any value. i dont think the watch is in working condition but im dont really know how to set it either. haha. other than that the chain and watch are in immaculate shape.
