This is a Conferderate Soldier belt buckle with the letters CS.  I am trying to find out

if it is authentic.  It has a bullet in it as well.  I would also like to know the value

whether or not it is authentic.

this a large desk with five side drawers and one in the middle the handles are made of brass i dont know how much its worth and if i should have it reconditioned or leave it as is. i'm sorry there is no photo my camera just broke a few weeks ago any help would be great and if there is anyone i can contact in my area or if someone can call with any info. my # is 203-982-6261

 I purchase this hutch at a consignment store.  I do not know the history and there are no markings or names anywhere.  

 it's similar to a cardboard box with a top and bottom. handpainted, handcrafted, lace, doilies, "pop-up" like features
