German Schrank?

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

My wife and I were looking for some office storage, and ended up buying what we believe is a German Schrank from an estate sale. I cannot find any markings or labels to indicate the maker.

This piece is 5'3" tall and a few inches shy of 9' wide. The trim on the top is 19" deep, but the main body is only 17" deep. The center part has double doors that open and is 45" wide. The two side doors are glass with a neat metal design raised above the glass and are 28" wide. The glass portion is attached via a piano hinge so you can clean it without the metal design getting in the way. Behind all the doors are adjustable shelves. There are 4 drawers at the bottom. All doors and drawers have locks and keys. This piece does come apart as it was creatively built with unique hardware that I've not seen before. I'm attaching many pictures for you to review. I believe the carving on the middle doors is a linen fold.
