This is a print not an actual painting. Artist is Paul Detlefsen and titled "The Smithy". Frame is solid wood and measures 53" X 29". Frame is 3" thick. Little metal plate is attached to bottom center of frame with artist's name and picture name. The whole thing is in pristine condition. Have no idea how much it is worth.
We received this Toulouse Lautrec LaGoule print signed in pencil and numbered 10/5000 and has the printmaker Daniel Jacomet also printed on the reverse along with the title. We have never had it out of the frame but there is a 10/5000 on the actual print as well .
This LaGoule print was a gift from a friend about 5 years ago, and after we saw your prints we thought you might interested in telling me more about it and if you may have some interest in the print..
I have attached pictures of an oil painting I have owned for over 12 years. It belonged to a sohisticated art collector, so I would think it has value. Please help me identify the artist. I appreciate any suggestions you may have on how to help identify the artist and the piece's ultimate value.
