This is an Onieda gold electroplated silverware set. It contains service for 12 plus serving utencils, extra teaspoons (not pictured) and a snub nosed spoon. Comes in wood case with backstamp, "Community". This was purchased by my mother for $100 from Fortunoff's in October 1969. I have included photos' of the original sales receipt and other paperwork. The pattern name is "Ruby Gold". I could not find this pattern on Onieda's database online.
Has a crank handle to turn to realease drinks. Was 5 cents at one time and a new 10 cent sticker was put on at some point. It opens with a 3/8 allen wrench instead of key... Still gets cold when plugged in.
