FLORAL OIL PAINTING IN BLUE/WHITE VASE ON TABLE

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

I am interested in any information and appraisal for painting and frame. The frame has been damaged in a move and I would like to either restore it or replace. The painting is oil and canvas depicting a vase of flowers (red and gold tulips purple lilacs, and white ?lilacs) in a blue and white vase sitting on a table, blue tablecloth w/brown fringed border. There is a small white and blue bowl and red tulip blossom also sitting on tablecloth. The signature looks to be all in caps and appears to be ANIEMAN. or ANIEMAM. The background color is a tannish brown color. The frame is 4 1/2 inch thick, raised, ornate frame showing some floral and scrolling pattern. The color is brown with gold/bronze. Many pieces of the plaster? on the raised part of the frame have been broken off.

Hepplewhite Mahogany Cellarette?

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This small table opens up and has a small tray inside. I listed on craigslist.com and people went crazy - so now I am not sure about the value. It is in fair-good condition. Someone has told me that it may be tigerwood. Another person referred to it as a cellarette. Not sure! Can anyone help estimate a value? Or tell me what I have?

1904 THE SOCIALIST PARTY EUGENE DEBS HARRIMAN PIN

Category
Other
Condition
Excellent
Description

Here is a very Rare Debs/Harriman campaign button/pin. So rare in fact, that I could not find hardly any information on their campaign. There are other Eugene Debs collectibles on Ebay and a lot of information on the net about it. I could not find anything on ebay and very little on the web. I only found the following historical information on the Debs/Harriman campaign. I thought I would share what bit of history I could find.

The button is in good condition. It measures just shy of 7/8" in diameter

Job Harriman a lawyer and politician initiated Llano del Rio. He was the Socialist Labor Party candidate for governor of the state of California. However, after having little success as a Labor Party candidate, Harriman began to align himself with the more mainstream labor movement. During 1900, he became the vice-presidential candidate to Eugene Debs. While campaigning with Debs, Harriman, though still loyal to socialist principles, began to believe that for the Socialist Party to gain success it needed to replace its political base with an economic one [3]. Socialism would eventually transform capitalism from within. Harriman also believed that for socialism to be successful it needed to be implemented economically as well as politically: “‘It became apparent to me that a people would never abandon their means of livelihood, good or bad, capitalistic or otherwise, until other methods were developed which would promise advantages at least as good as those by which they were living’
