This watch is as described above but also has a gold band that says speidel on each of the links on the band. It also looks like the minute and hour hands have pearl or something inlaid.
I picked this item up at an estate sale a few years back. I didn't think much of it until my wife saw Pirates of the Caribbean and told me that she saw the box in one scene(I have included a screen shot). This piece appears to have been well used but nothing is broken. I have not attempted to clean this item. I would like to get an idea of what kind of box this is, it's true age and an approximate value. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Porclein dresser box with lid. Detailed in gold with man/woman near water, bridge, greenery, etc. They only have a red/pink shawl around them. They are not clearly detailed. The lid is the most decorative with gold around the edges. This box is on porclein legs, see picture below.
This set is listed as Prestige****Plate. Grenoble is the pattern. I believe Oneida changed it in 1951. The chest is in good condition. The silverware is tarnished from not being used. My family did however use it up until around 1992. I then put it all away.
Old book of children sermons author Dr Philip Doddridge, D.D. Printed by William Young, NO. 52, 2nd street the corner of Chesnut Street. Philadelphia is printed inside as well I think that is where it was printed. Leather bond nothing spectacular.
