the outer edge of the plate is gold trimmed with leaves etched into the gold . it is the painting of the 3 women harvesting that hangs in the Lourve in Paris by Jean Francois Millet. would love to learn more about it if anyone knows.
Mint condition Snow Berry pattern brown in color. We had it appraised 10 years ago by Antiques Road Show in Asbury Park New Jersey for 3000.00. I am interested in the value in today,s market. Please keep in mind this piece is in like new condition, it does not have a mark on it. The pattern is crisp and well defined.
It is 16 inces tall, 35.5 inches wide and 17.5 inches deep.
I found the style number 36103 on the bottom of the chest but cannot locate
a serial number anywhere on the chest.
I have photos available if that will help.
It appears to be a fairly old piece looking at the way that it is
constructed with mostly nails and a few screws. There is no tray on the
inside and the wheels appear to be made of wood.
Images of this chest can be seen at
It has some wear and scratches on top surface; the top drawer looks like the wood/veneer is wearing off. The drawers slide in and out very well. There aren't any stains on it. Some detail along top and bottom of dresser as well as on legs. It's from a non-smoking/pet-free home.
