As far as I have been told, this is a Hurricane Style Tiffany Lamp, the lower part of the lamp is also a night light. I know for a fact it is at least 60 years old, it could be a lot older(i got this from my Great Grandmother). It is in good condition, just looks its age.
Boy and girl napkin rings. Boy looks like oliver Twist and girl has muff with bonnet. Both look very stylish. Boy has two chips and girl none. Darling and cute.
My mother got this large, limited edition Avanti d'oro lynx from a plush toy representative in 1984. She had a children's clothing boutique in Hilton Head, SC. As she related it to me, the rep wasn't supposed to sell the lynx, as it was strictly a 'show' item, but she eventually wore him down & got it for me. I can't find anything like it even mentioned on the Net --first time Google has failed me. Mom passed away in 1997, so I need some outside sources of info to give me an idea of its value. Tag reads: "Avanti d'oro Collector's Limited Edition, No. 460, (copyright) 1984 W.B.C. & Jockline, Rome, Handcrafted in Italy, Reg PA 291, Ohio lic 6905 (CA), Contents: All new materials/polyester fiber, Item No 923 Lynx, Design Jockline, Italy"
tHE COUPLE HAD THIS CHANDELIER hand made silver chandelier IN iTALY. IT IS VERY ORNATE WITH 6 ARMS, MANY CRYTALS. INCLUDING LARGE GOLF BALL SIZE ONE IN THE MIDDLE. IT IS VERY BIG AND HEAVY. HAS ABOUT 10 LEAFS AT TOP WITH3 SMALL ROUND CRYSTALS & 1 LARGE AT END. EACH ARM HAS 8 CRYSTALS FROM THE ROUND PART AND MANY LARGER HANGING CRYSTALS, ALL ALONG THE ARM TO THE BASE. LARGER CRYSALS ARE APPROX 3" X 5". will attach pictures later.
