I was given this 8-piece rod set. It has two separate handles, one for fly and one for reel. Even has an extra Tip for shortening the rod. It was manufactured by Eagle Claw and as soon as I get some pics, I will add them. I am just curious as to the monetary value of this item as it has a greater sentimental value.
A ANTIQUE SILVER/ SILVERPLATE PLATE/SAUCER, ABOUT 6" DIAMETER AND RECESSED TO 5/8" HIGH. ITS PITTED AS IF IT WAS MANUFACTURED THIS WAY. THE MARKS READ FROM LEFT TO RIGHT,A CREST W/ TWO KEYS CROSSED, A CROWN, AND A CREST W/ HORSE? UNICORN?---I DON'T BELIEVE ITS A LION. THE BOTTOM IS SCRATCHED UP A BIT, FROM NORMAL USE, BUT NO SIGN OF SUBSTRATE. IT LOOKS TOTALY SILVER. I'LL TRY FOR BETTER PICS LATER.
My friend received this as a wedding gift then gave it to me when she was moving to another state. At the time she received it she was told that it is an mexican antique and worth couple thousand dollars. I don't know how old it is and doesn't have any information about it, just want to learn the value of this piece.
This was givin to me by my grandfather, It was found by his great grandfather while mining is what I am told. I would like to know the history. The other items were also found while mining and look to be coins of some kind.
