My father purchased this clock at a clock auction years ago. I have been cleaning out his house and found it. I don't know much about it. He did pay a decent amount for it. Thank You.
The 1996 handcrafted artwork by Abdul Jabar Ahmad (Jeff Ahmad) is a beautiful still life painting. It features a vibrant bouquet of flowers in a blue vase, surrounded by an assortment of fruits including peaches, grapes, and possibly melons. There are also two white butterflies that add a delicate touch to the scene. The painting is set against a dark background, which makes the colors of the flowers and fruits pop vividly.
The frame is quite elegant, with a gold outer border and a black inner trim lined with double gold accents, adding a touch of sophistication to the piece.
This type of still life painting showcases the artist's skill in rendering textures and colors, bringing the scene to life with remarkable detail. The use of a dark background highlights the subjects and creates a striking contrast, making the vibrant colors stand out even more. This artwork likely symbolizes themes of abundance, nature, and the fleeting beauty of life.
I'm not sure who these drawings are by or if there is any way to find out. I acquired at an auction and would like to know more about them and what they may be worth. They are original and done in marker it looks like. Thanks for any help that can be offered.
I was given a coin collecton booklet holding wheat pennies. The dates start from 1941 to 1964. Unfortunately the 1943 wheat copper is missing. I thought I'd get an opinion on the other two wheat pennies dated 1943, one minted D the other has no mint mark. I also have a bicentennial 1776-1976 quarter and a Georgia wisdom, justice and moderation quarter dated 1788 - 1999.
I found these pictures in a storage unit, there were so many expensive vintage collectibles, and then there were these. I can't get any info on the oil paintings at all, there's a signature but I can't read them. The Indian painting is a water color and it says that it's signed but I can't find where it's signed, the other to pictures one looks like it's done in ink and colored pencil and the 3rd paintings isn't a painted the middle is floating above the canvas. I was told that nobody had been in the unit since 1994 and the dated paperwork we found in the unit was 1987, so these have been in the unit for 25+ years.
