So I got consigned this set to sell. Cant find it anywhere. Its a china import I believe. 70 Ze Zhou seems to be the maker. Its a 17 piece coffee set. The inside tag says Original Porcelain 24 carat gold 3 years warranty washable. Each piece has a number somewhere on it. The big piece has the Ze Zhou insignia. Does anybody have an idea if its actually worth anything? Thank you!
For several days now I have been doing Research on a beautiful coral encrusted jar that was found on board of a discovered shipwreck around the Agean Islands in Greece many years ago. Ive done extensive reasearch and seen some similar artifacts only belonging to Tang Dynasty and several other huge discoveries. The latest collection was sold for millions. I do believe it is 9th and 10th century. But like we say only science can verify with carbon dating. This vase been in the family for over 60 years. For us and I'm sure for many is considered as a true piece of history. I have received very great feedback by many collectors but none have come close to the real value of this very rare antique. The detail in the crust coral formations on this item is un comparable to any other online. Ive only seen a few in museums, and then none that are displayed are as rare as this.
I have a Sterling silver numbered brush and mirror set that was passed down to me by my mother, it has been in our family for a long time i believe since the 1700's or 1800's the set includes a silver hand mirror (monogrammed) ,a silver and horse hair brush (monogrammed) , 2 crystal jars with silver lids one monogrammed one is not, a silver shoe horn (monogrammed), a silver nail file (monogrammed) and a silver nail tool (monogrammed) all the pieces are numbered . I do not know much about the history of these items or the value and would very much like to know.
