The scroll and shell handle is one of Matthew Boultons’ trademark Regency designs. The solid base has a gadrooned border and feet. The toast rack will hold six thick slices and would equally well serve as a letter rack.
Original Pony Express Map in good condition. Obtained from relative. Map is very detailed. I am seeing a value at this point and I am not interested in selling until I obtain a little more information about what I have here.
The title of the playbook is Bugbee's Popular Plays. The play is entitled The Coonville 'Ristocrat Club. It states that it is a Negro Entertainment in One Act by Willis N. Bugbee. Copyright date is 1916. It is a paperbook. The cover is green and has to black gentlemen on the front. On the inside cover are ads for other minstrels. Some offer music. Without music-35 cents. With music-$1.50. On the back cover are ads for stunt books such as Rattlebrain Stunts and Goofy Stunts. The price listed for this playbook is 35 cents. There are notations in one-apparently names of individuals playing the parts-in pencil. I have another copy that isn't written in.
Unfortunately I have no pictures, wish I did, the Piano is in good condition, six of the keys are cosmetically damaged and one key is no longer producing sound. The Piano hasn't had a tuning in over 3 years and has been exposed to poor conditions including humidity and dry dusty work areas. In an effort to clean the piano the finish has been stripped to barewood in a few places. (not my fault) All Mechanical Components are in Excellent working order aside from the one key and lack of tuning. Esthetically it needs help. No serious physical damage just the finish. Te piece is numbered
61518 I am pretty sure that is te model # The serial # is 513
