Jo Mead Hanging Mermaid Lamp

Category
Decorative Arts
Condition
Fair
Description

This is a Jo mead lamp that hangs from three points of the lamp I have rewired it and the lamp does work.  The are a few chips along the tail and as u can see in the front picture both arms are missing significant pieces of the plaster.  I think it gives it alot of character.  Anyways, I don't know anything about it other than that it has a jo mead marking and I imagine it has all the original metal parts to it and the original ceramic light sockets.  Not sure if the globes are original or not.  Any information or estimates would be appriciated.  Also any information places on Jo Mead would also be appriciated.  thanks

Italian 4 handled Vase

Category
Pottery
Condition
Poor
Description

Client's father told him that the vase was from the 17th century.  The piece is signed by the artist ("S" over a narrow upside down "V") and marked "Italia."  Was the term "Italia" used back then?  Any thoughts or information about this piece would be greatly appreciated.

Antique Sofa

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Was in bad condition with original horsehair stuffing coming out and wood lifted. Had item refurbished. Unfortunately, moving the item several times, the movers cracked the top back portion, which is again in need of some repair. Would like to know a bit more about it and the actual name or style and what it may be worth.

Double decker stagecoach

Category
Antique Toys
Condition
Excellent
Description

This stagecoach is very detailed. It looks like the person who made it was learning as they worked, as you can one side ih different than the other. (Railings are flat on one side and turned on the other) It is 12" wide, 38" long, 26" High.

All the latches and hinges look handmade and all of them work. All doors open or slide as they should, the benches in all the doorwasy are hinged so they can lift and open for passengers to board. The inside has benches in it as well, on both floors. The wheels move and turn, it can be steered easily and works just as a real stagecoach would. This is a family treasure which I inherited and I would love to know more about it's history and value. I do have more detailed pictures available.

Religious St. Nicholas handmade Icon

Category
Paintings
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is a unique religious icon. Dont know much about the technique. Its almost 3d, made with various textiles and fabrics. Its almost as it under the threads of the robe, there might be material to make it more 3 dimensional. It is very ornate.  Not sure of the technique used.
Any critique would be helpful. Im assuming its a rare item, being from greece from 1923. Any ideas?
Thanks!
