Very ornate and textured with cameos, leaves and bows. Appear to be hammered to create the pushed out designs. I have 12 of these. 6 of them have original glass inserts for the pudding.
This is a sextant from the 1950s. It is Weems & Plath, still in good condition, although actual use would require professional calibration. It was carried around the world by my father and actually used for 20 years for navigation, long before GPS!
