Buried in our yard was a large cement block carved in the shape of a headstone. It is an upside down T shape that is about 2 feet across on the bottom, about 8 inches thick, and about 1 foot across on the top. On the front is holes that look like they may have been for a plaque. On the back is about 8 off white inlays that have "Darlington" 'Staso" "Total' and " 3 21 62" embossed in them. I am very curious if anyone knows what this could be or if I should re-bury it and say a prayer!
The set includes, a gal pitcher, 11 glasses, 14 desert dishes, oval tray, small divided dish, candy dish w/lid, 21 punch cups, butter tray, round tray, bunch bowl, cake plate w/lid, small bowl, round tray, cake plate, footed bowl, oval divided bowl, 13 plates, 23 small plates, 13 saucers, 2 footed creamers, sugar bowl, oil & vinegar bottle, candle holder, cake stand. I am guessing that is is from the 50's or maybe earlier. Has a gorgeous pattern, diamond w/ circles on the lower half and little diamond/ dots on the top half, and a long petal flower design ? on the bottom. a cake plate and bowl have small chips in them.
