This is a pair of unusual carved oak candlesticks that I picked up at a thrift store. They are approximately 10" high and about 2 inches wide. They have what appears to be brass cups to hold the candles in place. The larger four areas as indicated by the arrow on the photo, spin freely, while all other areas of each candlestick are stationary. Can someone give me some insight as to their origination, worth, etc.? There are no signatory marks that I can see. Thanks in advance for your help.
