Nippon Chocolate set. Set includes one pot and four cups and saucers. All are in excellent condition with the exception of a small hairline fracture near the top of the spout.
The sides of the vase are painted with light green, red, yellow and royal blue. There is a darker green border painted around the very top and very bottom. I bought it at an auction for $10 and would like to make sure it is not worth a lot before I alter it. I did as much research online as I could but found nothing. Any information would be appreciated
I recently saw a similar piece at a Bed and Breakfast in Hannibal, Mo, said to be early 1900's or older. Supposedly made my craftsmen in St. Louis area. It has been reupholstered prior to my purchase. Looks like new with no wear.
