This is an old rocker that was given to me by my great grandfather. I had the wood refinished, but have left the seat part with original material and springs. I don't know much about it and I am interested in finding out history of design. I have taken it to a antique dealer who told me he did not know anything about chair but offered to purchase it, and when I refused to sell he told me he could not help me any further. Any information/history would be great.
This vase has much crazing all over, but no chips or cracks. Some minor glaze pops and roughness on the bottom. I would normally think oriental when I see something like this, but this one just has a very quality feel to it. I collect Zanesville Pottery, and although the carving on this is very detailed, the vase still has that heavy stoneware feel to it. It just "feels" important.
