These two bowls are hand made pottery with a mark of Miri or Yiri. I don't exactly know whether that first letter is an M or Y. Would like to know if they are African in nature or what exactly. They stand approsimately 2 3/4 inches tall and are 7 inches across. They are painted and I think they are hand painted. The background color of the white on one of them was not complete. The bowl looks like the paint is wearing off but it just seems like it wasn't completely painted for some reason. Would like to know anything about them that you might know.
This is a framed painting/drawing of a civil war soldier in his uniform. It appears to be in original frame (slightly damaged). I believe this to be a distant relative.
My name is Tamara Tackett, my e-mail address is [email protected]. I am attatching a photo of both the front and the back. Thank you for your time and trouble.
