Don't know exactly who made the table but i have read of others that had this same slide and they stated that the table itself was made by Rockford Chair and Furniture Co. They also mentioned that the stamp for that company was in an awkward place, didn't say where but i looked all over the table for it and could not find anything. The exterior of the cabinet is in poor condition. The wood is cracked and peeling. We do not know in what environment this sewing machine was stored, but it was already damaged when we received it. The cabinet doors open up, revealing 3 drawers with swing-out compartments.

The condition of the actual sewing machine is opposite that of its cabinet. The machine is still operable and in perfect working condition. This is further justification that one should not judge a book by its cover.

We do not know the history of the machine as it was handed down by a family friend. She also does not know the full history of the machine. A serial number engraved on the machine should provide some clue to its age. The serial number is AD813047. An instruction manual for a Singer Sewing Machine Model No. 66, revised in 1929, was found in one of the compartments. There is extensive damage to the manual by sewing machine oil, but the instructions and wording are still easily readable. The pages of the manual are very fragile and delicate due to its age.

With some restoration, this sewing machine can be a very beautiful, and still operable, antique.

I don't really need an appraisal. I just need to identify these dolls. I can find them in any of the books I have looked through. Can any help?

A very attractive set, hallmark suggests by Charles Pickering, London Assay office, date mark 1917. Hallmark a little rubbed but readable.

Sterling silver hollow, tooling on the back of items, with a guilded stripe there is naturally some wear to the guilding and a few dents and dings.

The Mirror has 2 small chips at the top, but 5 tiny screws along the edge for obvious replacement if mirror becomes broken. The brush pushes out and is clean.

I have a print from the Ullman Mfg 1901 signed by Harold heath titled "Peaches"

This Card is very unique, in that it is from the era before Trading Card Companies. The Front of the card is ALL HAND DRAWN by "AL DEMAREE", the PITCHER for the N.Y. GIANTS from 1918 - ? The back of the card has the stats of "Ulysses John Lupien" "First Sacker" for THE HOLLYWOOD STARS, Pacific Coast League. The back also has an advertisement for "FRED HANEY, Signal's ACE Sportscaster", on KLAC Radio DIAL 570. There is also an add for "SIGNAL GASOLINE", who were the makers and distributor of this card.
