I know nothing about this item exept that it is constructed of oak and on the back it says "Standard Furniture Mfg Co, Pittsburg PA." The Date above is a guess, I'm not even sure if this qualifies as arts and crafts. The only reference I can find to this company is a 1929 map of Pittsburgh I found on the university of pittsburgh website.
These are some pictures of the pottery. I have 8 place settings. Dinner plate, dessert plate, bowl, cup and saucer. I also have a serving platter, large bowl, casserole dish with top and milk and sugar holders. All are in excellent condition. One plate has a small chip and one bowl has a small fold in the pottery.(not cracked) I contacted the manufacturer and was told that these were called the tawny color. She could not give me exact time frame of when these were made. They have a loop on the mug arms and on the tops of casserole dish and sugar dish.
It belongs to a homeless man, he's had it for ages, I didn't really ask the history for it. It may be an old family treasure. He's form some country in Europe and wishes to be able to sell it to go back. Jewelry stores offered him between 300 and 500 for just the carraige. http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/4374/img7759os9.jpg
