i've had one person tell me it was worth $300-$600. i haven't found it anywhere and my grandparents are wanting to sell it if it's worth that much. it has some rips and yellow discoloration. the calendar part is in the worst shape, but i've been told if someone bought this it would be for the picture not the calendar part. which the calendar is missing the months of january and february.
The bell is in great shape. Lettering says O.S. Bell & Co. Hillsboro O. on one side.
No. 1 Yoke 1886 on the other. The carriage is also in great shape and is marked #1 Upright 1886. I tried unsuccessfully to attach pictures. I have plenty if there is maybe an email address I could send them to. Thank you very much.
My own research concludes it is from the O.S. Bell foundry in Hillsboro Ohio that closed down in the 50's.
