Catalina Poster signed by Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner 1977. Cleaned out our parents house in Avalon, CA (Catalina Island) this past summer and located this mounted poster. My mother, who passed several years ago, used to gather celebrity signatures if she spotted them in town. Natalie Wood drowned off Catalina island just a few years later. Poster is a bit faded due to sun exposure but signatures are still recognizeable.
I have an "S" roll top desk that im having a hard time finding the value. I cant find a stamp anywhere. It has a unique right side set of drawers hidden behind a drop door that has some overlay?on it. one drawer is labeled receipts. The desk is in poor condition, but is all orginal as far as I know. I believe it was in my great Aunts store. My father mentioned it being a Wells Fargo desk, but nothing connects this title. It has some metal pieces as well as some pin and cove work. Not sure of the wood.
This big gold statue has been sitting in my moms dining room for over 30 yrs. She received it as a gift from a old woman she worked for who was a collector of fine arts. When the old womans husband passed away they held an auction in her home and donated most of her things to a museum. My mother wont allow anyone to touch or even get near this scary thing. She often says " one day im gonna get that thing appraised" Lol I was lucky enough to get a pic. Does anyone have any idea what this is or what it could be worth? It's a great conversation piece and I would love for her to have some sort of information/ history about it. I researched it online but got nothing! thanks
Unsure of plates value. Lady Hamilton pattern is different from mine. Almost the same but this plate has more flowers. Markings on the back are unknown to me as well. Any help in finding the plates value and year of manufactoring would be appreciated. Ribbed outter edge and gold trim.
