I bought this at a yard sale along with a bunch of other useless stuff and paid $9. for the lot. I just thought it was beautiful and looked old and interesting. It looks as if the interior was painted a bluish shade that is just about worn off. There is something stamped/hammered on the bottom of the inside but I can't make outwhat it says. So does anyone know what the item is, when and where was it made, what is it worth? I would appreciate any information that anyone could give me.

This pair of vintage platform shoes has seen light use by one owner. They are sized at 6.5 and come in their original box. The shoes are in fantastic condition. The straps are colored a shimmery silver, while the platform base is covered in silver glitter. They are truly disco shoes!
