Tiny Brass Serving Set

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

Brass set with two fluted goblets, one spouted decanter and one covered bowl, all around 5"-6" tall. Looks Indian or Persian. Marking on the bottom of one goblet looks like tiny dots that make up letters. To me it looks like it says "HISH". Any idea what the set is or what it is used for???

St John Sewing Machine Company - treadle sewing machine

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This is a treadle sewing machine manufactured by the St John Sewing Machine Company. It is in very good condition; the cabinet has very few scratches or knicks and the moving parts still move. Some of the paint has flaked off of the metal on the actual sewing machine. There are some extra parts with it that I found in the drawers. It is really a beautiful piece! I am curious to find out more about its history and what it's value might be. I have other pictures, close-ups, that could not be uploaded on this site.
