This chest was once part of a 5 pc bedroom suite that my parents bought right after they were married in Feburary 1935. The top of the Chest has an attached box which was used to hold my fathers jewelry. All parts of the chest are original including the wooden wheel casters and drawer pulls. All the drawers are dovetail fnished. I am considering to have the finish on the chest restored since the piece has been stored in the attic for many years and the finish is very dry. I was advised to have the piece appraised before having anything done to it. I am not looking to sell this, I am planning to use it in my spare bedroom.
