Re: Antique Silver Tea set
If it's Sterling silver it will have markings to indicate that, either in the form of stamped markings called "Hallmarks", the word "Sterling" of a number "925" ( Sterling id 92.5% silver). If it does not have any of these markings it silverplated. Please check and report any markings you can find on it and I'd be happy to give it another look.
