Purchased from a service man who got it from his NCO while overseas as a gift. It had been purchased from an antique store overe there. it has multiple carvings, most notable, the birds on the door panels. Some discoloration of beveled mirror around edge, and a little end piece broken off the center drawer handle. There are two small drawers on either said on top and a center drawer in lower front, as well as two compartments with a shelf in them on each side.
These are generally South East Asian pieces, and they are "Made fror Export" items sold to tourists and servicemen. The vast majority of them are not antique, very few date before 1890 and they are currently still in production in China.
