Description

This is a watercolor of the Salute (Basillica of St. Mary of Health) in Venice, Italy.  It is signed "Edward Hill" in ink and dated March 8, 1893.  The painting measures approximately 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" and is mounted on a very heavy (and very old) 10" x 12" piece of cardstock.

I don't recall exactly where I picked this painting up, but I do know it was most likely at a flea market. I don't know anything else about its provenance.
