Yes I would call this is a Vintage Egyptian Rivival Brooch
The medal looks like copper and I would agree enamel. Its unusal to see jewlery pieces made of copper as they will turn your skin green. Maybe because its a brooch there is less chance but odds say the pin will touch your skin when worn.
By the clasp, mounting and overall appearance, I would not say this is a very old piece.
Circa 1975 - 1985 Origin : Most likely a crafters market.
Estimate Value $10 - $20 based on demand and where sold.

Thanks for your reply ... It is a very cool piece. Art Deco was Circa 1920's - 1930's It is possible that the clasp and pin were replaced but I have my doubts. Its always good to hear other points on pieces I research and evaluate ...or best guessimate : ) Enjoy you brooch it is cool !! Peace Always TJG
