Fritz Lang's Indian Epic (1960) movie made things like this popular...(not saying it's from the 60's)

 Hindu religion, Parvati,

Shiva Nataraja

all the photos of the face looks like yours. Parvati Hindu goddess of all goddesses; wife of Shiva.

this is who I think the statue is.

I have found a few links you might be interested in. Worth of your statue? I think you need a hands on person to look at it.....Good Luck..."NOTE" I do not claim to be an EXPERT"

Re: India brass copper statue

It is in fact a statue of Parvati. Price would depend on how old it actually is. Are there any marks on the underside?  There may be a makers mark that you can isolate that could tell you the age.  If it has a solid botton then it may also be a newer piece. Old pieces were earth cast and would often have an ovoid indention where the molten metal settled, but a stamp may have been carved before complete solidification.  Even if it is not an older piece a god statuary piece such as this will sell at variable prices depending on the area in which you live and to whom you are selling. For example a person who wishes to have this for home decor will pay more than someone for religious reasons. For statues in bronze measuring around 2ft tall you can reasonably ask 200.00.
